Leos L serie basser, startede som en videreførelse af hans Music Man designs, og med to Humbucker pickups tilbød G&L noget på det tidspunkt, som ikke fandtes hos MM. G&L er Leo Fenders sidste livsværk, skabt på erfaringerne fra Fender og Music Man, og designet i Leo’s workshop, på Fender Avenue 2548, i Fullerton, CA. Physis Piano er en idé.
