Tribute Fallout Bass
Fallout er faktisk mindre end den ser ud. Krop og hals har samlet set samme længde som en “normal” bas, men stolen er rykket frem, således at man opnår en 30” mensur, altså en Short Scale bas. Det giver en del mere træ at arbejde med, og Fallout er da også en af de Short Scale basser på markedet, som har den største og tykkeste lyd. Og den indbyggede MFD humbucker pickup byder endvidere på ikke mindre end tre forskellige modes. SPLIT er en Single Coil Mode, PARALLEL for to parallelle coils, mens OMG indstillingen er den kraftigste, med begge coils i serie. Leo Fender havde et brændende ønske om at opdatere sine oprindelige klassikere, og det resulterede i nydesignede Alnico 5 pickups, samt et forbedret vibratosystem, nemlig G&Ls Dual Fulcrum vibrato, som er et to punkts system, hvor man har elimineret slør i tremoloarmen, og anvendt en kraftigere Base Plate, for at sikre bedre sustain og tone. Legacy kommer med PTB systemet, og desuden G&L Alnico Humbucker i Bridge position.
G&L er Leo Fenders sidste livsværk, skabt på erfaringerne fra Fender og Music Man, og designet i Leo’s workshop, på Fender Avenue 2548, i Fullerton, CA.
