Strings in black nylon tape wound on a stainless steel core: if used on a fretless electro-acoustic bass, make the instrument able to produce tones as a double bass.
The Galli Musical Strings Company was established by Tommaso Galli in 1890. At that time musical strings were handcrafted using gut.
In 1950 Roberto Galli, Tommaso’s son, joined the firm. Roberto inherited the talent of his father and in time became like his father a great expert, a maestro, in the art of musical string making.
In the 1970s Galli Strings introduced new technologically advanced equipment into their production process. Roberto Galli’s son, Tommaso, joined the company in 1985. Building on his grandfather’s and father’s musical and technical achievements, Tommaso Galli has extended into the twenty-first century the Galli tradition of developing and manufacturing fine musical strings.

The new SoloStrap Neo was designed with one thing in mind: To be the most comfortable padded single guitar strap you'll ever own! Comes in two widths: The 4.0 model (4" wide) helps ease the weight of heavier instruments such as basses and solid-body guitars, while the 2.5 model (2.5" wide) offers ample cushion for lighter instruments. Formidable weaponry
It was the Who’s John Entwistle who first traded in his Marshall stacks in favour of Sound City at the beginning of 1967, and Pete Townshend followed later that year.
At this time, Dave Reeves was providing Sound City with the amplifiers, OEM. They were the first in a lineage of amplifiers that would quickly evolve into Hiwatt.
Also, around this time, Jimi Hendrix and his manager Chas Chandler approached Townshend, asking for his opinion on amplification. He told them that he had stopped using Marshall, as he thought Sound City were better. The Jimi Hendrix Experience subsequentlystarted using Sound City rigs, but set them up together with their Marshall stacks instead of replacing them.
In late 1968, The Who approached Dallas Arbiter, the makers of Sound City, asking if their equipment could be modified slightly. This request was denied, but independent amp designer and manufacturer Dave Reeves agreed, and created customised L100 amplifier
