The XVIVE Audio USA Design Team is made up of musicians and engineers who have decades of professional experience.
Howard Davis works as our Chief Designer. He is well known for his many pedal designs for Electro Harmonix (1976 to 1981) and later did design work for Pigtronix (including the Mother Ship analog guitar Synthesizer). Legend Soul line is born thanks to the Viscount centennial experience in projecting and making instruments. Our purpose was creating new digital tonewheels organs able to reproduce the original and iconic 9 contacts effect as much realistic as possible. After several studies, our engineers have managed to perfectly recreate all of them, using a unique technology patented by us. Thanks to that, when you play one of our Legend Soul, you will feel the iconic and realistic sounds of original tonewheels organ, but with all the advantages of the digital ones.
A little over 40 years ago, largely because we could not afford to buy a high quality electric guitar, and partly because we enjoyed a challenge, my Dad and I decided to make an electric guitar. I designed an instrument from scratch, with the intention that it would have a capability beyond anything that was out there, more tunable, with a greater range of pitches and sounds, with a better tremolo, and with a capability of feeding back through the air in a "good" way - i.e. in a self-sustaining mode.
