Leos L serie basser, startede som en videreførelse af hans Music Man designs, og med to Humbucker pickups tilbød G&L noget på det tidspunkt, som ikke fandtes hos MM. L serien har siden starten fået sit eget liv, og både L-2000, og L-2500 (5 str) er blevet manges favorit bas, og i høj grad en bestseller i Tribute serien.
G&L er Leo Fenders sidste livsværk, skabt på erfaringerne fra Fender og Music Man, og designet i Leo’s workshop, på Fender Avenue 2548, i Fullerton, CA. Stedet hvor de første Music Mans blev bygget, og siden alle G&L USA modeller. Den lille fabrik kører stadig på højtryk, og Leo’s værksted står, som da han forlod det. Tradition og håndværk forenet. It’s not easy to reinvent forgotten technology, but after many years of research, we found the lost secrets and brought back the authentic echoes from the 1950s. It’s known for its use in David Gilmour and Hank Marvin’s guitar tones, John Bonham even used it on drums!
The Binson Echorec provides a unique and distinguishing type of echo supplied by a rotating metal drum where the audio signal is recorded through a magnetic recording head. The Four Playback heads will allow you to choose individual echoes and swells.
